This year our 10th Annual Charity Golf Event will be held on the afternoon of Monday, May 16th, 2011 at The Landings at Spirit Golf Club in Chesterfield, MO. For the second year in a row, the event proceeds will help support the charitable efforts of The Wings of Hope, a local non-sectarian, non-political, international Humanitarian organization. As you may have heard, The Wings of Hope was recently nominated for the 2011 Nobel Peace Prize as announced by the St. Louis Business Journal on 1/28/11.
How can each of us assist and have fun while helping our Council with our major fund-raiser of the year? With this year's event being at The Landings and so close to home there are a number of different ways to help make this the best golf tournament ever! Consider a number of the following ideas:
· Keep this event in your thoughts and prayers.
· Help spread the word and advertise this great event beyond our Council and Parish.
· Sign up to golf (like me) and recruit golfers. We'd like to see many of our Knights golfing!
· Volunteer a few hours of your time to help support the event either during the day or night.
· Help recruit sponsors and gift donations for our live and silent auctions.
· If unavailable for golf, come join us for a wonderful evening of dinner, fellowship, and live auction.
